O. Gail Poole and his beloved '73 VW, "Van Gogh."

The O. GAIL POOLE MEMORIAL TRAVEL FUND, administered by the Norman Arts Council,
was created to enable Oklahoma artists to expand their horizons through the benefit of travel, which Poole so adored.  100% of donations benefit our artists and are fully tax-deductible.

Since the award's inception in 2013, Oklahoma artists have traveled to China, Brazil, and across the U.S.

Larger pool of Oklahoma artists invited to apply for memorial travel fund

NORMAN - The O. Gail Poole Memorial Travel Fund is accepting applications for its third round of travel awards, this time expanding the qualifications to allow a wider array of Oklahoma artists to apply. Administered and funded by the Norman Arts Council, the fund was designed to benefit artists of demonstrated merit and ability, allowing them freedom and opportunity to travel outside of Norman.
